Pavers are durable, affordable, and easy to maintain

Weeds also often grow through concrete cracks. Brick pavers are sturdy, stable, and allow for expansion and contraction. Brick pavers are easy to maintain, making them a prime choice above stamped concrete patio slabs. 

For example, a great patio could add as much as $15,000 to the average home's price. However, if you are using pavers as part of creating a brand new garden space, you could improve your home's value by as much as 20 percent. 

As far as installation costs and concrete costs go, poured concrete is technically the most affordable per square foot. However, even though the upfront cost of pavers is higher, concrete pavers offer greater value and durability than poured concrete and stamped concrete. 

There are four main signs to look for when deciding to replace a roof:

1. Delamination - this is caused when the top layer of the roof wears out causing water to accumulate.  This causes the shingle to darken, and gives the appearance of black streaks.
2. Algae and Moss Growth.  When these two issues come up, then the time has come for replacement.  Excessive water retention and the combination of lack of sun and moisture is the main cause.
3. Shingles become lose and dislodged.  Finding shingles on your property is another sure sign that the life of the shingle is expired. 
4. Sheathing Rotting - if your sheathing is rotting underneath after taking an attic inspection the costs associated with a replacement will start increasing with time.  The more plywood that is replaced the more costly the replacement will be.
